SSN Corporation Awarded Land Development Project for Indu Grocery Complex in Morrisville

    SSN Corporation has been recently awarded a land development project for the Indu Grocery Complex, a community-focused, mixed-use commercial development in Morrisville, North Carolina. This neighborhood-serving project aims to meet daily community needs while creating local jobs and small business opportunities. This is a design-and-build project that will be executed in three phases: site, civil and infrastructure development, building design and permitting, and construction. 

    The development will feature a 30,000 to 40,000 square-foot commercial complex, including a grocery store, a restaurant, personal service businesses, general office space, and a primary or urgent care facility. It is designed to provide convenient access to essential goods, dining, healthcare, and employment opportunities for nearby residents. 

    In the first phase of the project, SSN Engineers, our sister organization, will lead civil engineering and site development, including surveying, geotechnical studies, environmental assessments, stormwater and erosion management, and the preparation of construction drawings and permits. The team will coordinate with the Town of Morrisville, NCDOT, NCDEQ, NCDWR, Wake County, Town of Cary, and other relevant authorities. 

    Site features include stormwater detention and water-quality systems, tree preservation, landscaped open spaces, outdoor dining areas, and safe traffic circulation. Underground systems will manage runoffs and comply with local and state regulations.
