SSN Corporation provided Construction Material Testing (CMT) and Special Inspection services for Hillson Grove Residential Development in Berryville, Virginia. Our scope covered quality assurance testing and inspection for earthwork, utilities, roadways, asphalt paving, foundations, concrete, and stormwater management pond construction in accordance with the approved site plans.

We performed field observations and testing of soil subgrades, embankments, and utility backfills; conducted nuclear density testing, laboratory soil classification, and compaction verification; and provided inspection and testing services for foundations, concrete placement, and asphalt paving. Stormwater pond embankments were monitored for bearing capacity, placement, and compaction, with ongoing engineering oversight, daily reporting, and coordination with project stakeholders to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and industry standards.
