Retaining Wall Design – Woodstock Townhomes

SSN Corporation provided retaining wall design services for the Woodstock Townhomes residential development in Woodstock, VA. The scope included the design of two Segmental Retaining Walls (SRW) located at the north and south sides of the site, incorporating modular concrete block units, geogrid reinforcement, and aggregate backfill.

Our team reviewed site conditions and geotechnical data, performed engineering analyses for wall geometry, stability, and reinforcement requirements, and prepared signed and sealed construction drawings and specifications. The design also included drainage systems and coordination with the project team to ensure compliance with applicable codes, industry standards, and project requirements.

We delivered complete construction drawings and specifications for both retaining walls, providing a fully engineered, code-compliant solution ready for construction and permitting.
