Geotechnical Engineering Services – 7-Eleven Convenience Store

SSN Corporation provided geotechnical engineering services for a proposed 7-Eleven Convenience Store development in Bridgewater, Virginia. Our scope included subsurface exploration, foundation and pavement design recommendations, and geotechnical support for the C-store building, car wash, fuel canopy, and site access improvements.
We performed an extensive subsurface exploration program consisting of auger borings, Standard Penetration Tests (SPT), Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP) testing, and laboratory testing of selected soil samples. The collected data was analyzed to evaluate soil conditions, bearing capacity, settlement potential, and seismic site classification in accordance with applicable codes.
We delivered a comprehensive geotechnical engineering report providing design recommendations for foundations, slabs-on-grade, pavements, site preparation, and construction considerations, supporting safe, durable, and code-compliant development.
