Construction Support Services – Miscellaneous Residential Projects

SSN Corporation partnered with Window Depot of Raleigh to provide construction support, site inspections, and preparation of signed and sealed letters for the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) across multiple residential deck and patio improvement projects. Each engagement addressed a specific construction element, including lateral load verification, footing excavation, and permit review responses for deck extensions.
Our team conducted on-site evaluations to inspect structural components, witness footing excavations, and verify code compliance with approved plans and applicable building standards, including NCBC 2018 and residential lateral load requirements. For permit review responses, we assessed the reviewer’s comments, analyzed design requirements, and prepared engineering clarifications and construction details to support permit approval.
For each project, SSN Engineers provided signed and sealed letters summarizing field observations, code references, and engineering recommendations. When required, construction details and permit response documents were prepared to facilitate AHJ approval.
