SSN Corporation was engaged by a private investor to obtain an occupancy permit and prepare architectural and engineering design documents for a storm-damaged, non-functional building being renovated into a convenience store. Our scope included assessing existing building conditions, developing a renovation program, coordinating measures to prevent further structural deterioration, and producing a complete occupancy permit set.
Our team conducted a detailed site evaluation to understand structural, architectural, and code-related deficiencies. We then developed a renovation strategy that balanced safety, functionality, and cost-effectiveness while ensuring adherence to applicable codes and jurisdictional requirements. Throughout the process, we coordinated with stakeholders and authorities to maintain project momentum and streamline approvals.
We provided a comprehensive permit-ready drawing set for the convenience store renovation, along with jurisdictional coordination to support timely occupancy approval.
