Upfit Design and Build Services – Nepal House Restaurant in Northwoods Shopping Center

SSN Corporation provided the complete design and build services for the upfit program of 2,400 sq.ft. Nepal House restaurant located in the Northwoods Shopping Center in Cary, NC. Our scope included interior alteration, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing, and fire alarm design for permitting, along with full upfit works of the restaurant dining, bar, restroom, and kitchen areas to support the restaurant’s operational needs. The space was occupied with a pizza house earlier.

To execute the renovation, our engineering team prepared permit-ready drawing sets and coordinated all compliance reviews with the local jurisdiction. Construction services included interior repainting, tile installation throughout the sit-in and bathroom areas, bar counter renovation, installation of a fire-rated partition wall, and power-wash cleaning in kitchen zones. We facilitated the installation of coolers, freezers, dish equipment, and kitchen appliances including a tandoori oven, fryer, commercial ranges, griddles, and dishwasher. Coordination was also provided for a separate fire alarm/fire protection contractor hired by the client.

We upfit the restaurant along with a complete permit-ready engineering package, providing the client with a functional, modernized, and code-compliant dining and kitchen space ready for operation.
