SSN Corporation was engaged by Mabrey Roofing & Construction to provide site visit inspections, construction support, and preparation of signed and sealed letters for the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) for various residential deck, porch, and patio projects. Each engagement focused on addressing a single construction issue per site, including deck framing, footing excavation, lateral load verification, and girder span changes.

Our team conducted on-site evaluations to inspect structural components, witness footing excavations, and verify construction compliance with approved plans and applicable building codes, including NCBC 2018 and lateral load path requirements. For specific issues, we prepared construction details and coordinated with the Client to ensure clarity of recommendations. Site observations were documented through signed and sealed letters, and construction details were provided where required.

For each project, SSN Engineers delivered permit-ready, signed and sealed letters summarizing field observations, code references, and recommendations. When applicable, construction details (plan and elevation) were included to support the resolution of specific construction issues.
