We are seeking energetic and motivated candidates for the position of Trainee Level Estimator (Civil Overseer) for our Kathmandu office.
SSN Engineers Nepal is seeking 5 candidates with a Diploma in Civil Engineering (Overseer) to participate in a 4-week training program (start date will be confirmed after the interview). This program will be conducted by our in-house estimators and will focus on using the Bluebeam, Qtakeoff platform (www.qtakeoff.ai) and other estimating tools. The purpose of this training is to prepare future qualified estimators for quantity takeoffs and cost estimates, and to support project planning.
Learn to performing quantity takeoffs using different software.
Learn to consolidating quantities and data in spreadsheet.
Understand the RS Means data to generate preliminary cost estimates.
Diploma in Civil Engineering (Overseer) – required.
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
Basic knowledge of PDF file. Knowledge of Bluebeam would be plus.
Can Understand basic English and have studied in English medium in Diploma in Engineering.
Understand and read the drawings and have ability interpret them.
Sound communication, learning, and analytical skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to work in a team environment.
Recent graduates are highly encouraged.
Training Duration: 4 weeks
